TEDx: Singing as a means to inner freedom

Singer and vocal coach Mirka Novak helps to discover the true potential and power of the human voice. In her workshops she tries to emphasize the importance of the authenticity of a human voice, which in turn contributes to the overall satisfaction of the person. There is no need to be ashamed of our singing, we don’t have to become professional singers. We sing for joy, for our well being and for pleasure. It is important to be in touch with our own voice and perceive its uniqueness. “Let’s take singing as a means to be freer,” says Mirka Novak.

“The whole MALBUM is a beautiful vocal symphony where words are not missing. It’s nice not to rush anywhere and take your time, for example, lying down in a comfortable position, having a sip of something pleasant at hand and letting yourself be overwhelmed by this vocal music, but you have to want to. Very respectfully!”
